Pipli College student Nikhilesh wins gold medal at Haryana Senior Athletics Championship
Pipli. Nikhilesh, a student of Shaheed Dalbir Singh Government College, Pipli, performed brilliantly at the Haryana State Senior Athletics Championship, winning the gold medal in the shot put event with a throw of 16.74 meters. The competition was held at the Dronacharya Stadium in Kurukshetra on September 6-7.
Nikhilesh's achievement has created an atmosphere of joy in the college. College Principal Dr. Tarana Negi congratulated Nikhilesh and wished him a bright future. She also announced the award as per the rules during the annual prize distribution ceremony.
College Sports Incharge Dr. Dinesh Kumar said that Nikhilesh is only 20 years old and his goal is to win a medal in the Olympics. To achieve this, he is working hard and practicing for 6-7 hours every day.
On this occasion, all the college staff members congratulated Nikhilesh and wished him well in achieving his goal. This achievement of Nikhilesh has become a matter of pride for the college and the region.
